Visas
Tourist Visa T3
Most tourists are not required to have a visa to enter Ecuador except for those from
France, Cuba, People's Republic of China, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica
and Sikhs from India. Otherwise, the T3 Visa is a tourist visa granted to tourists upon
their entering the country. For this visa, you must have a passport valid for more than 6
months. You might also be required to prove your having $20 per day for the length of your
stay, as well as a return ticket.
T3 Visas may be extended for an extra month for a small
fee. However, once you have remained in the country for 3 months (4 with an extension), you
may not enter on a tourist visa again for one calendar year.
